Iowa City No Shame 10-24-08

Announcements: Dick Roberts got published, Halloween party at Theresa's house, and Eric Jesteadt says there will be jazz stuff at The Mill. Also I think John Bates said something. Ask them for the deets.

As well as: there will not be a No Shame next week, as next Friday is Halloween. We are sorry, but we weren't expecting a big turnout as we figured people would be doing their own things on Halloween, so we'll be back on Nov. 7.

No Shame Iowa City Fall

Hey everybody,

Just so you know, we have no intention of shutting down No Shame in the fall because of damage to the University's Theatre Building. As some of you know, June's flood seriously left the Arts campus crippled and unsuitable for students and performers/artists. Sadly, we are unable at this time to provide information about a replacement location but assure you we are searching vigorously for other spaces or options. We hope to have (preferably positive) information to you before the week of our first show on September 3rd. Thanks for your time and hope to see you all soon.

NS Show with Shirts!

Hey everybody who reads the blog, No-Shame will be having a show tomorrow night and there will be a big ol' stack of shirts for you to buy, if you bring cash. The price is $10 but this ain't no department store so you could probably haggle it down if you knew what you were doing with respect to the art of the haggle. There is one shirt that has two dogs on it and another shirt that has a distressed man's face on it. I'm going to be buying one and I'm a G-D fashion plate!

So you should think about it.
