Order in the comments, people. I wasn't at the show - Eric Jesteadt loves herpes? There was an Okiishi piece?! Sorry I missed it.

1. A Day at the Park by Mikey307@aol.com

Someone tries to pry up a bottle of poop but they accidentally become inside it and part of it.

2. A Truly Shitty Day by Penny

Penny keeps the ball rolling with another piece about poop. A guy at work has to tell his boss he shit his pants.

3. MURDER by Taylor

Apparently a song about murder?

4. An Attempt at Documentary Theater by Asher Stuhlman

A piece dramatizing articles from the NYT about a man in China who turned out NOT to be a real doctor. He'd said mung beans cured cancer.

5. Making Toys is Hard to Do...Period by Penny

Greg pitches a doll named Patty Period, who teaches girls about their menses and about using pads and tampons. Greg gets fired.

6. Why I Love Herpes by Eric Jesteadt

"Pocks are red pussy cold sores make you blue, oh Herpes, I love you!" What!

7. Hand Rebellion by David Rout and Asher Stuhlman

Hands rebelled.

8. An Interview with James S. Roth by his future wife

James gives his future wife a lot of reasons not to marry him, but she doesn't relent.

9. Tell me a story by Eric Jesteadt and YOU!!!

Trombone piece! With storytelling?

9.5. What are you doing? by Jake

"What are you doing?" "I'm doing EVERYTHING."

10. Gay Baiting and Other Ways I Spent My Summer by Chris Okiishi

An epic story in which Chris Okiishi engages in a car chase with a couple of gayhaters and helps them meet a bad end.

1. I don't know who wrote this, but I loved the "4-year-old-telling-a-story-that-almost-makes-sense" aspect of it. It's obvious something is wrong, but not obvious what is.

2. Oh, crap. What a shitty affair.

3. Yes, a song about murder. Not Taylor's best, but that's more a testament to Taylor's musical abilities than the song itself. I enjoyed it.

4. Yep. I didn't really write this - it was all, well, documentary.

5. This is a great idea for a doll! I would buy two.

6. :/

7. I didn't deserve the writer's credit here. Fun piece to be in, though!

8. James is the last guy on earth who should be a virgin.

9. No comment! That's because I got a piece of my own out of it.

9.5. Thirteen... thirteen... thirteen...

10. A very epic story indeed. I was ready to believe it until he mentioned having dozens of lethal weapons in his car.

1, 9.5, and 10 were all best-of quality.

Thanks for letting me visit, everyone! I had a great time.

And to clarify:

Nearly everything in my piece was true, including the prop weapons. Google "Deathtrap Prop List." They were all in my car that fateful night.

One thing my ex / roommate want to fess up to is that he never made Chicken Marsala. It was Chicken Picatta.

Penny's pieces made me wonder how many women have "menstruated their pants" while at work. Do they talk about this sort of thing?

The last time I "menstruated my pants" was the day of my first period, the very last day of sixth grade, age 12. And just a little. I know this sort of thing must happen, but not to mr. Maybe some women talk about their periods, but it's not really a common subject of conversation among me and the other women I talk to. Periods happen and they go unremarked upon.

Shouldn't nominations for BONS be happening now?

Dead week is December 3, so best of No Shame should be December 10. If you want to go ahead and post your nominations later in the comments, I'll make sure the rest of the board sees, but I imagine there'll be a later post asking for official nominations.
