A lot of improv, a lot of poetry, and a lot of body fluids; all in all, a good show.
1. The Ordained Thief - Kjai Block
I liked this poem, though I was leery about following it so soon with my own because I thought people would compare the two. Good job to the newest board member.
2. Eirc and Luke Do Improv - Eric and Luke
My name's not Eirc. Also, I think Luke and I were a little uneven due to not performing together for more than two months.
3. Three Poems - Eric Landuyt
I think this is the best writing I've done in months, and I hope people liked it.
4/11. Actor's Worst Nightmare - The Chipmunk Experience, et. al.
I had never seen this game performed before and found it to be a lot of fun.
5. Just Because It is Dead Week: the Great Tale of Cumshot Magee - Chicken and Biscuits
Reminded me of my own Dirty Slug McGee/Horseface McGillicutty pieces and Jesse Blaine's story about Adam Hahn and an ape having a beat-off contest. I liked the fact Katy hadn't read it all the way through beforehand: "This grammar is terrible!"
6. The Lost Art of Small Talk, Or: Kill All Movies - Nick Lecnar
I couldn't quite follow the direction of this piece, partly because it seemed a little too scatological and partly because Nick was rushing the delivery. Relax, Nick; we want to like you.
7/13. Open Spot - Pussy Juice Cocktails/Freaky Puzum
Pretty good. I hope this people all come back next year and keep getting better.
8. The Truth About the H1N1 virus - A Theresa
I wasn't into this one simply because I've seen and read a lot of zombie-related stuff in recent weeks and am just zombied out.
9. Luke and Kjai Say Funny Things - Anonymous Guys
I wish this wouldn't have ended so soon because the "should we be doing this in church" line was hilarious!
10. A Visitation from the Sacred Funky Llama - Mirri
I liked how dark and trippy this one was, and the inclusion of a llama made it fun too.
12. Ripley Brothers - Ryan Kaminski
Oh, so funny. "Baby racist!"
See you all at Best of!
It was written in dialect that is why the grammar is terrible. lol. Also I finally got a new phone so if anyone needs to get a hold of me, you can now do so.
