A fun show. Welcome to newcomers with great songs. Please come back; we need your creativity. One of James Roth's most entertaining pieces for me. Katy Baggs has a unique capacity to take everyday experiences or "found" pieces of journalism and stand and them on their heads in interesting ways. John Bates please produce something about BOJ again. Eli should be on stronger medication. Penny's fan letters could be repeated almost every week -- it's a simple but refrshing format that can be used over and over, both to illuminate the strange workings of Penny's mind and to profile famous individuals in off-beat ways. Dick Roberts's piece was not intended to be either anti-Semitic or anti-Christian; it WAS intended to be anti-hypocrisy...Amy, please come back; I think I love you -- like a vulgar uncle.
Why should I be on stronger medication? My piece was the bro piece. Not the really crazy one.
Okay, okay. You're correct. Not stronger, just different medication.
Why do I always miss the fun shows?
We wait until you don't show up, Eric, to put out the best stuff.
Speaking of missing a show, where's the order for the 4/17 show? Did it happen? I hope so, even though I wasn't there to see it, but then that probably means it was a good show.
