I believe "Quick" was the title. My vote would be for either that one or "Revenge."

I'M waiting until this week's order is posted to do my BONS NOMS, so that I can look at it and take everything into account.

I would like to see:

Lydia's piece from the LAST best of where she was on a safari as a British guy. That piece still makes me laugh when I think about it. It's still eligible, right?? Where was she this semester?

Work-A-Day Number 37: My Only Vice Is the Fantastic Prices I Charge for Being Eaten Alive by Rape Slaves by Jesse. The one where Jamal calls him swingset.

Professor Teeth by Brian

The Desert Shone Blue by Arlen Lawson

Tim's piece from the 12/29/06 No Shame when Chris Stangl was there.

Tim's stolen Rubik's Cube Phone Sandwich sketch with Shelton writing the Cow Novel. I would buy a copy of that cow novel.

Arlen quits smoking by Mirri

Adam reads a list by Adam Hahn

The original Quote Boy by Patrick Ashcraft

Michael's piece from last night

Pretty much ANYTHING from the February 16th show.

I'll post more if I think of more awesome good ones.

Can we get the order from last week, Patrick?

4/22/2007 12:47 PM

Here, in what I believe is chronological order:

• Pine (Matt Benyo as Xmas tree) by Jananim [from dead week]
• The Ashcrafts: An American Dream by Whacko Benyo and Papa Ashcraft [also from dead week]
• They Don't Even Exist by Evan Schenck (retail store, man looking for a wax cylinder of rap music)
• Ave Maria by Mirri
• Racism Soup by Eric Landuyt
• Revenge by Arlen
• Here Is an Old Thing I Wrote Because I Didn't Write Anything New This Week by Katy Baggs (this was the piece about the performance artist)
• An Unorthodox Assassin by Shelton (assuming this is the one about the windmill)
• The Orange Sketch by me (Greg M.)
• S is for Seppuku by "Chicken & Dumplins & Apple Gravy"
• Jesse's apology (last night) by Jesse

Quote Boy by Patrick Ashcraft - what asshole's NOT going to put Quote Boy in BONS? We all know it's gotta be in there.

The Desert Shone Blue by Arlen Lawson (lovers' quarrel, mountain driving) - the best Arlen piece of the semester. When the lights went down, that was awesome.

Professor Teeth: A Song by The C. Everett Poops - the best SONG of the semester. Period. So awesome.

Arlen Quits Smoking by Mirri (carrot poor tobacco replacement)

A Dinosaur Is My Friend by King Sophie (Sophie sings a song about Dinosaurs and how maybe they're not dead, they're just playing a trick on us.)

Liz's Talking Purse by Liz Byram - I think that Liz's debut semester was a blazing success and that she deserves to get into BONS

They Don't Even Exist by Evan Schenk - I really really really want to see this again.

A guy with a deep, grumbly voice reads The Far Side aloud
by Tah-Com - Hilarious! IT was hilarious.

Untitled Monologue by Timm Sitzman - from the official No Shame show that took place on 12.29 in Theater B.There were a lot of great pieces, but a lot of the people that performed were only in town for the holidays and won't be available to be at BONS. But I'm pretty sure that Timm will be available AND this monologue was GREAT.

"S Is for Seppuku" by Chicken and Dumplings and Cold Apple Cider - funny and with a cool sword. where do you get such a cool sword? Is it just me or does Shelton seem to have a whole arsenal of bladed weapons? What's the deal with that?

Is that it for nominations? Come on people. More more. You have until like 9 pm on thursday night.

Blogger Greg said...

More:
First, that should be "Janani," not "jananim" in my previous post.
Second, that should be "cold apple cider," not "gravy," in my previous post.

• I second the nomination in which Timm solves a Rubik's cube.

• Either "Suzy, Pt. 2," or "Six by Ten," by Adam Hahn; or the list of holidays, which I did not get to see.

I tried to think about something and this happened:

"Grumbly Far Side" or "Work-a-Day 37" by Jesse Blaine

"Professor Teeth" I didn't see this but I heard that it was the best thing ever EVER. Please, put it in BONB's so I can at least see a reenactment of the best thing ever.

"They Don't Even Exist" by Evan Schenk

Either "Dopest Ride in the World" or "Velvet Apple Butter" by Janani

Eli's new "Shelton is a sword murdering Sudoku master" piece.

Liz Makes Out With a Dinosaur.

"Snap Rack" and or "Fatty and Smarty" and yes I did help write both but am not in neither one either so am QUITE unbiased!

Tim's monologue about beady assholes and murderous labia from the very real and literal No Shame show of 12.29.6 (my most favorite Timm monologue of all times! Share it with the world, Timb!)

And, of Course, "Quote Boy Version 1.0!"

Other stuff, too, prolly. Don't feel bad if I leeft you out, mook! Fill in you name right on here________________, love.

I believe this is Evan's noir piece, "Does it Even Matter?" which was also very good.
